Společenstvt Kristovo Praha
Prague (Praha in Czech) is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and a major international destination for people and companies from around the world. Every year millions of tourists flock to the capital with its astoundingly well-preserved medieval architecture. Prague is also home to the oldest university in Central Europe, Charles University, attracting students from many countries. However, the need for the gospel is great here, with the Czech Republic ranking in surveys as the most irreligious country in Europe.
The Prague church was planted in 1996 when a group of 12 disciples came here, determined to spread the gospel and seek and save the lost. The church now consists of 33 members, with full-time staff and 20 children. Since its planting, the church has also continuously run programs for the poor and needy through its benevolent wing HOPE Worldwide Česká republika.
We gather regularly on Sundays at 3 pm at Modřanská 118, Praha 4 and once a month at the Olivova Children’s Institute, Olivova 108 in the suburb of Říčany at 10:30 a.m. Further details can be found on our website.
