Welcome to the next EBS session in Prague!

Thinking biblically about Christian identity.

“For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

In a world full of turmoil and change where the existence of God is challenged, where Christianity is at once maligned and used as a weapon, Paul’s claim that “For me to live is Christ” forces us to think more deeply about our identity.
In this exciting EBS session, we will look first at how selfhood is defined in this modern secular age as well as how faith and commitment to the redemptive story of Jesus now defines us. We will then explore our shared identity as God’s people, deepening our understanding of how the church and its identity are defined: not as an institution but as the place where God’s people thrive, mature and continue his mission of salvation in this troubled world.

• Full room and board will be either in Hotel Floret or Hotel Tulipán. Rooms are for 2 and 3 people. We will try to accommodate roommate requests, but we cannot guarantee either the number of people in a room or being with requested roommates.
• If you wish to have guaranteed conditions such as a single or double room and certain roommates, please consider staying off site and registering for the Conference with lunch and dinner meals at 140 €.
• Nearby lodging suggestions: Park Hotel Pruhonice, Pension Pod Zamkem, Babiccina Zahrada Penzion & Restaurant, Aquapalace Hotel Praha.
• A special tariff applies to members of the Paris church (except for ESOM students). The Paris tariff will be applied when you register. If you are a member of the Paris church and require more information on this tariff before registering, contact your Paris ministry leader.

• For extra night(s) either before or after EBS, please contact Hotel Floret directly to reserve and pay: recepce_at_floret.cz
• Be sure to mention that you are part of EBS so that you will obtain the reduced EBS rate for the extra night(s).
